Abandze Beach Resort
Abandze Beach Resort is located between the Abandze and Kormantze Villages, about 5km past the Saltpond turnoff on the Accra-Cape Coast Rd.
(15km past Mankesimm). You’ll find us as you travel towards Cape Coast, we are the first resort when you can see the ocean from the road.Overlooking the resort is historic Fort Amsterdam(Cormantin) built in 1638 by the English, taken by the Dutch in 1665 and invaded and destroyed in 1811 by the Anomabu people. It was resored by the Ghana Museums and Monuments Board in 1951.We are considered the best spot for people travelling from Accra to Takoradi, as we are about half way, perfect for a rest or overnight stop.
If you are arriving by tro-tro or taxi, ask the driver or mate to drop you at Abandze Goil station, which is just across the road from us.
